2 Million Reasons to play Theo
At least as far as a Southampton fan is concerned, because 2 million pounds is the rumoured payment that Arsenal have to make to Southampton for Theo's first England cap. Sure, Arsenal got him on the cheap, but at least they're having to pay up quickly.
Is he ready for the World Cup? That's a different question altogether, but, he's certainly looking more ready than Sven...
It's been a while since I've got around to fully forming my thoughts on a favourite band of the week, with so many great musicians around, how can you pick just one band?
However, this week it's easy.
This week is Eurovision week.
For non-Europeans Eurovision is a litle hard to explain, but imagine a karoake contest where the electorate (and candidates) belong to rival in-bred feuding families. That might certainly give you some of the feeling of the inter-nation friction, and for added confusion the singers and bands cover such a broad range of music that direct comparison is nigh-on impossible.
Despite this however there are clearcut winners, one is this year's entry from Finland, Lordi.
Ok, the contest is not until tomorrow night, but how can these guys fail to win? They ROCK!!
As Janne points out all you've got to do is watch, enjoy and Vote Lordi!
How cool is this? WizBit, a BitTorrent client for S60 phones written in Nokia's S60 port of Python.
Certainly something for those who like to live on the bleeding edge, preferably on an unlimited data tariff... More details can be found on the WizBit project blog.
At the time of writing it's not yet functional, but it's certainly interesting, much like the much-rumoured Symbian iTunes client that I've only seen once in the wild.

And the winner of the silver medal is...
...the Carnival of the Mobilists, which hit its 25th edition last week at Judy Breck's Golden Swamp.
Judy has rounded up a great set of articles (even though I sneaked in somehow), my favourites being the feature overview of a FOMA phone, the RAZR marketing story, and Howard Rheingold's plea for help to save the internet.
