Nokia 6682
The Nokia 6682 is a variant of the Nokia 6680 phone for the American market, the differences between the 6682 and the 6680 are that the second camera for video calls and the 3G capabilities have been removed, although it retains GPRS and EGPRS (aka EDGE) data functionality. Also the GSM frequency ranges used by the 6682 are the US specific 850, 1900 MHz and the global 1800 MHz band.
Despite these changes the 6682 remains a very capable phone, and is a very worthy successor to the Nokia 6620 for the American market. Also the very minor differences between the 6680 and 6682 mean that almost all 6680 software and hardware add-ons will work pefectly with the 6682.
In a similar way to how the 6680 was superseded by the N70, the 6682 appears to have been superseded by the Nokia N72, however, the Nokia N73 or Nokia N80 are far more state of the art.
