Nokia N79

Announced alongside the Nokia N85 on 26th August 2008 this Nokia Nseries appears to be the possible successor to the recently released Nokia N78.

Featuring S60 feature pack 2, a 2.4" QVGA screen and a 5 megapixel camera, the Nokia N79's specifications are rather close to the N78, so what is its market niche? Perhaps it's really intended as a replacement for the Nokia N82 which is also very similar in specification levels. It will be available from October 2008 at a price of around €350 (£280) before taxes and subsidies.
