Nokia Nseries
Following on from the Nokia N-Gage but at quite a tangent the Nseries are a multimedia focussed range of 3G S60 phones.
- Nseries press release
- Shiny Shiny on the phones
- Russ on Nseries
- Vincent Oberle - the return of the exciting phones
The range comprises:
- Nokia N70 - a 2 megapixel 3G cameraphone, the Nokia 6680's successor
- Nokia N71 - flip phone - again 2 megapixel and 3G
- Nokia N72 - a stylised GSM/EDGE only variant of the Nokia N70
- Nokia N73 - the Nokia N70's successor, QVGA, 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, and still pocket sized
- Nokia N75 - the Nokia N71's successor, Nokia's first really slim flip phone
- Nokia N76 - the Nseries goes for the RAZR's jugular with this RAZR lookalike clamshell
- Nokia N77 - an affordable version of the N92, packaged into a slim candybar phone
- Nokia N78 - candybar styled successor to the big-selling Nokia N73 with S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2
- Nokia N79 - candybar similar in specifications to the N78 and N82
- Nokia N8 - probably the final Symbian based Nseries device, with a 12 megapixel camera
- Nokia N80 slider, like the Nokia 7650 on steroids, 3 megapixel camera, four GSM and two 3G frequency bands for truly global action
- Nokia N81 slider - a music focussed successor to the N80
- Nokia N82 - a candybar with Nokia N95 8GB specification levels, looking rather like a more sophisticated Nokia N73
- Nokia N85 - high-end compact dual-slider, like a less bulky Nokia N96
- Nokia N90 - a camera oriented 3G successor to the flippy flappy Nokia 6260 with high res screen and (fixed focus) Carl Zeiss optics
- Nokia N91 featuring a 4 gigabyte hard disc and Wi-Fi for music lovers
- Nokia N92 for TV (DVB-H) on the move, a true pocket Tivo
- Nokia N93 a vastly improved N90 replacement, pretty much a camcorder replacement. Also available in updated form as the N93i
- Nokia N95 ahead of its time, think of pretty much any feature and it's there
- Nokia N95 8GB and Nokia N95 US are slightly remodelled variants of the original N95 with a bigger battery and more memory; the 8GB has a bigger display, 8GB of flash memory (and no MicroSD slot), whilst the US model has 3G (and HSDPA) on 850/1900 MHz rather than the more usual 2100 MHz
- Nokia N96 - not the N95 successor; think bloated, better specced Nokia N81 with DVB-H
- Nokia N97 - the Nokia 5800's big brother, with a larger display, and slide out qwerty keyboard
There are other Specific Phones in the S60 range.
