Panasonic X800
The Panasonic X800 is Panasonic's second Series 60 phone, a tri-band GSM flip with a similar specifications to the X700, the X800 is due to be released in the first quarter of 2005.
Will this phone replace the Panasonic X700? Who knows, that's difficult to say, the V800 look-a-like X800 is certainly less bland looking, so maybe the X700 will be retained for the aesthetically conservative consumer.
At just 18mm thick the X800 (details from mobiletracker) makes the RAZR look like the over-priced under-specified dumb fashion phone that it really is. Episode one of the Smartphones Show features a video review of the X800, which shows off just how slender the phone is.
Rafe of All About Series 60 managed a preview of the X800 at 3GSM in February 2005.
If you're the sort of person that avoids "candy-bar" phones because locking the keypad is too onerous, why not try AutoLock, an automatic keypad lock program?
There are other Specific Phones in the Series 60 range.
