S60 Tips and Tricks

My favourites? Try these:
- One key Multi-tasking - Press and hold the Apps key and you will enter a small pop up menu of open applications. You can scroll the list of open applications using the Apps key. Once the right application is highlighted press and hold the Apps key to select it.
- Double click the Apps key or press the red phone key (hangup) to get to the phone application. Beware: In S60 3rd edition the red key closes the current app.
- From the phone application press the green phone key to open the call log application.
- Check the firmware version press *#0000# - details on latest firmware
- Show your serial number/IMEI press *#06#
- Fast forward/rewind a video clip in RealPlayer/Helix by pressing up/down on the joypad.
- Zoom in or out with the camera using up/down on the joypad.
- Tap the power key to get a menu which allows you to choose the active profile and on some devices lock the keypad.
- When the keypad is locked, tap the power key to get the screen and keys to light up.
